Q: Can the keyboard be used without the hard cover?

A: Yes, the keyboard will still function normally with or without the hard case/stand. 

 

Q: How long will my battery last after being fully charged?

A: Depending on usage and whether the backlight is used often, this will vary on how long you can go before your next charge. But, for example, let's say you only use the keyboard a few hours a week, with no backlight, you can go approximately 3 months. 

 

Q: How long does it take to charge?

A: Depending on how it is charged (via USB port or wall adapter), it takes approximately 2-3 hours to fully charge.

 

Q: Is there a way to disable the track pad?

A: Unfortunately, you cannot disable the track pad on this model. 

Setting up your keyboard

  1. Turn your keyboard on by pressing and holding the power button for 3-4 seconds (you will see a green light come on and then turn off)
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth (leave this screen open)
  3. Press and hold the Fn + Z key simultaneously until you see a blinking blue LED light in the upper right corner
  4. The keyboard should come up in your 'Nearby Devices' section under IPKBCASE, press 'Pair' or 'Connect'
  5. Once connected, use your track pad to move around, click and attempt a test type. 

 

Charging your keyboard

  • You can charge your keyboard via a USB port or a wall adapter. 
  • You will see a red light while it is charging, then it will turn off when charged. 

 

Adjusting the backlight

  • Press Fn + X at the same time to turn the backlight on/off and increase/decrease the brightness. 

 

Keyboard isn't working

The issue you are encountering may be caused due to a loss of connection or a channel failure.
  1. On your iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth (leave this screen open) 
  2. If the IPKBCASE is listed in your 'Device List' and will not connect, you will have to Remove/Forget the device by pressing the X or i to the right
  3. On keyboard, press and hold power button for 3 seconds (until you see the green light come on and then turn off)
  4. Press Fn and Z at the same time for 3-4 seconds, let go
  5. IPKBCASE should pop up on your nearby device list > hit connect
