Setting up (or re-syncing) your keyboard
- Turn the keyboard on (you should see a green light and the backlight come on together, and then turn off)
- Go to System Preference/Settings then click on Bluetooth (leave this screen open).
- If the keyboard is listed in your 'Device List,' you will need to remove/forget the device first by clicking on the 'X' or 'i' to the left of the keyboard
- Hold the B1 button on the top right of the keyboard for 2-3 seconds.
- The B1 LED will rapidly blink Red (if you are on a different channel the B2 and B3 LED indicator will be a different color).
- Use your mouse to click/press 'Connect' when the keyboard is found under 'Nearby devices' (it may pop up as BTBLERGO or keyboard).
For Apple users only - Keyboard set-up assistant
Once you have successfully connected your keyboard to your Mac, you may get a pop-up that states you need to identify your keyboard (Keyboard Set up Assistant). Here are the steps:
- Click on continue
- Press and release the 'Z' key
- Press and release the '/?' key
- Choose 'ANSI' as your region
- Click 'Done'
Note: There are two instances when this pop up may not come up - The first being the connection was unsuccessful. You can check if this is the case by doing a quick test type in any application you'd like (i.e. Google, Safari, Notes), if you are not able to type, you may want to go through the sync instructions again. The second reason the pop up may not appear consistently is because it only triggers when a new, unknown USB or Bluetooth keyboard is detected, or if the system fails to recognize an existing one due to connectivity glitches. You can always manually do it by:
Settings > Keyboards > Change keyboard type - (go through process listed above)
Is your keyboard not working?
- Make sure that the keyboard is turned on (the on/off switch is located on the back sticker).
- Make sure it is fully charged (you will get a red light while it is charging and a green light when it is fully charged).
- Please note: The charging cable does not convert the keyboard into a wired keyboard.
If your keyboard will not work with your computer, we first recommend you try pressing and releasing the channel you are currently using. I.e. if you are using this keyboard on one device, press and release B1 key in the upper right corner, if you get a bold light, do a test type. If you do not get a bold light, you can proceed to the following steps as you may have lost connection.

- Press B2 one time; Do not hold it. (Holding the B2 button will make it lose connection. If it happens, the keyboard will need resyncing.
- Press B3 one time; Do not hold it. (Holding the B3 button will make it lose connection. If it happens, the keyboard will need resyncing.
